DAP LUXE

DAP LUXE LAB · CURRICULUM

People's Infrastructure Curriculum.

Workshop modules developed for museums, universities, and community organizations, drawn from the Blyden Blueprint research practice and the Grounding Together archive.

THE THREE MODULES

MODULE I · ORIGIN

The Egg

The foundational module. The Sankofa symbol carries an egg, held in the bird's mouth, while the head turns back to retrieve what was left. The Egg is what we carry forward. This module establishes the principle that heritage is not past tense; it is what we hold.

MODULE II · RETRIEVAL

The Turn Back

The act of looking. Linguistic retrieval, textile retrieval, narrative retrieval. Participants work through a single ancestral object, artifact, or word and trace its journey through colonization, dispersal, and possible return. Drawn directly from Blyden Blueprint methodology.

MODULE III · PRACTICE

The Motion Forward

The work itself. Every retrieval is incomplete until it becomes practice. Participants build a small artifact, a piece of writing, a movement, or a gathering practice that carries what they retrieved into present and future tense.

Modules are available individually or as a three-session sequence. Contact info@dapluxe.com for institutional booking.
