DAP LUXE LAB · EXHIBITION PROGRAM
Ancestral Futurism in Practice.
The Lab's traveling exhibition program. Currently in proposal stage with New England institutions.
I · THE CONCEPT
From Canvas to Cloth: Every Thread Remembers.
A three-zone structure. The Source Paintings reproduce the European-rendered portraits that anchor the Royalty Collection. The Translation walks the working method of the DAP LUXE loom: palette extraction, silhouette decisions, the conversion from canvas to cloth. The Living Archive surfaces the artifacts themselves, alongside their serial codes, their pricing logic, and the gatherings they have circulated through.
